Cape Town’s most glamorous boutique hotel, The Marly, has partly reopened  and it looks stunning

You can’t help but be drawn in by the Mother City’s Camps Bay’s picture-perfect beach, swaying palms, dazzling turquoise waters and bronzed sun worshippers. Then there’s the buzzing Camps Bay strip, with its stylish cocktail spots and dining destinations. It’s here that The Marly Boutique Hotel and Spa holds court and thanks to a five-month-long renovation and the addition of a new floor it looks set to remain a favoured fixture for years to come.

Despite its prime spot on the prestigious Camps Bay Golden Mile, The Marly also offers a unique sense of relaxed exclusivity. The hotel is set back from the road, so once guests are swept upstairs through a private elevator they are cocooned in a secure environment brimming with five-star design and luxurious spoils – including the newly-built Spa and a luxe shopping boutique filled with chic resort wear.

Thanks to the transformation, The Marly will be home to an additional 27 suites, bringing the total complement to 38 in December, all dressed in the hotel’s signature sophisticated palette of silvers, whites and grey. Each suite boasts utterly beautiful sea facing or mountain views. Each room also boasts bluetooth music devices and Netflix.

Part of The Kove Collection, The Marly is a cosmopolitan lifestyle destination and guests can make themselves at home at the eateries situated in and around the hotel, including la Belle for a bistro fare and fresh baked pastries; much-loved seafood spot Paranga; and Bilboa.  A new dining destination next to la Belle, named Surfshack, . a luxe diner offering sea fare, wood fired pizzas and gourmet burgers  also welcomes guests

Adding to the allure of The Marly is the new rooftop pool, bar and lounge.  With its Hollywood-style semi-submerged pool loungers and spectacular vistas, it will be the perfect spot to retreat to after a day on the beach for sundowner cocktails all year round.

The Boutique Marly will offer a curated experience, featuring handpicked fashion, eye-catching accessories and scented luxury products.

The Spa at The Marly offers top-to-toe treatments ranging from restorative massages, targeted facials, expert manicures and pedicures as well as a series of bespoke signature spoils.  A new state-of-the-art gym opens at The Marly in December.
