Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) have refurbished the cabins on their Airbus A340 aircraft fleet. All five fleet members now have a new cabin and in-flight entertainment system. As a result, SWISS now offers its passengers internet connectivity on board, throughout its long-haul flight.

Passengers also enjoy a new cabin lighting concept on the refurbished A340 fleet.

“The comprehensive modernisation of the Airbus A340 cabins … ensures a premium experience for our South African travellers,” says Dr André Schulz, General Manager for Lufthansa Group, Southern Africa.

SWISS operates its Airbus A340s on services between Zurich and Boston, Johannesburg and Shanghai. The A340 will also be deployed on SWISS’s new Zurich-Osaka (Japan) route, starting March 1 2020.
