Fancy a weekend away at Tintswalo Boulders with interactive cooking and dining with the chefs from the Chefs Warehouse family, paired with wines by Idiom?

Gourmands will have a masterclass and personal interaction with the head chefs of Liam Tomlin’s Chefs Warehouse over three weekends and enjoy dinners with wine pairings and Tintswalo’s breakfasts, at Tintswalo at Boulders in Simon’s Town.

These weekends will be all about food and wine, including the intricacies of sushi-making and sundowner canapés on Friday evening. Saturday will bring a fish preparation demo by Abalobi followed by a light lunch; onto wine tasting at Tintswalo’s Deep South Supply Company in nearby Glencairn, hosted by talented Sommelier Jabu Ngwenya.

On Saturday afternoon the focus will turn to the Chefs Warehouse team with a masterclass led by the guest chef preparing for the dinner service.

Chef Nate Coe of Thali

The weekend of 25 & 26 June, Chef Nate Coe of Thali will share the secrets of the Indian fare that have made Thali famous. On 23 & 24 July Chef Gordon Logan of Chefs Warehouse Winebar & Pinchos will unveil the essence of preparing Spanish pinchos. Chef Braam Beyers of Chefs Warehouse at Tintswalo ends the series on 13 & 14 August with the creation of big flavours on small plates.

Weekend packages from R5 500 pps include 2 nights’ luxury accommodation with all meals, wine pairing with dinners, food demos and wine-tasting. Optional extras include massages or marine activities such as snorkelling through the kelp forests and kayaking with Shark Warrior Adventures.

Expect great sea and mountain views with penguins on the doorstep .  Bookings are limited to 18 guests per weekend.
