By reducing water-related costs and environmental impact, the Bluewater Pro water purification unit is a potential game-changer for the hospitality industry.

The unit, which has a chiller, remineraliser and carbonator, can be installed in any kitchen or catering service unit to produce commercial-level mineral water.

The technology has been embraced by Waterford Wine Estate in the Cape and Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in Hoedspruit.

Marketing manager at Khaya Ndlovu in Hoedspruit, Shannon Rombi says: “We offer our guests complimentary water in their suites, and many now comment on how good it tastes.”

The wine tasting room at Waterford Estate in Stellenbosch provides still and sparkling water using its own reusable branded water bottles.

“Sustainability is key for us. Bluewater Pro allows us to purify, bottle, and serve our own water guests in recyclable glass,” says Waterford Estate Head of Sales and Marketing Damien Joubert-Winn.
